The VE792 and Comcerto 300 combination offers a flexible, scalable, and cost-effective processing architecture that also integrates widely supported system interfaces.  The multiple centralized processing elements of the system leverage a modular software approach to efficiently handle all aspects of the conversion of analog voice on copper to packetized voice on Ethernet. This modular, scalable architectural approach minimizes software complexity, reducing development time and longer-term maintenance costs, while allowing customers to develop multiple architectures and channel densities from a single base design.
